Breast cancer, as with all forms of cancer, is a very difficult diagnosis for both the women as well as for their families. In local communities in the Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill, NC, area, a local painting contractor is painting it forward with donated home painting services.
Two Dogs Painting has joined the Komen NCTC to provide both a donation of the percentage of sales from painting projects to the Komen NCTC Affiliate in the area. This North Carolina Triangle to the Coast (NCTC) affiliate will also work with the painting company in marketing initiatives throughout the year to bring awareness of the partnership as well as the various community initiatives and events that will happen.
The Paint it Forward Initiative
Through their home painting services, the company will be offering a special benefit to two local survivors of breast cancer.
Through the announcement that the Komen NCTC & Two Dogs Painting Launch Year-Round Partnership, there was also another announcement by the company. This included the information that twice per year a local breast cancer patient will receive complimentary home painting services.
For women and their families struggling with hospital bills, extended time from work and just the stress and anxiety of dealing with the diagnosis and treatment, this is a much-appreciated opportunity. In conjunction with the Komen NCTC Affiliate, two survivors will receive the complimentary house painting service per year, allowing them to celebrate their survival and their continual fight against this all too often diagnosed disease.
With companies in the local community giving back to the survivors, as well as 75% of all net funds raised in the Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill, NC, areas staying right in the community, this is a charity everyone will be able to get behind and support.
